United Goju-kan Karate Do
Sensei DRenshi
As a life long student of Sensei Jann Aki, began Goju Kan Karate training in 1983 in a small back yard dojo in Kaneohe, Hawaii.In 1986, member of the International Goju-Kan Karate-do, (IGK) headed by Kiyoshi Tino CeberanoIn 1991, traveled to Australia to attend Black Belt Grading and received my Shodan rank under the IGK. In 1996, and at the request of Aki Sensei. Began instructing classes at the Marine Corp Base Headquarters in Kaneohe.
In 1998, member of the newly formed United Goju Kan Karate-do. Founded by Aki Sensei.
In July of 2000, during the week long United Goju Kan Gasshuku. Attained my Nidan rank.
Achievements:
Numerous awards in Local, National and International Tournaments.
Had the opportunity to train with Professor Wally Jay, Sensei Tadashi Yamashita and Sensei Rodney Hu.
